Happy New Year, FIT Folk! We see a wide array of people walk through our doors, all of whom have unique stories, motivations, and goals. We want to showcase some of those people in an effort to demonstrate that physical fitness is both important and beneficial to everyone, regardless of the path you walk or why you walk it. We asked some our clients and members to answer the question, "What does FIT mean to you?" Their answer could pertain to the gym directly or to the word itself. I would like to introduce you all to Gina and what she had she had to say:
"Being FIT to me means being committed and consistent with my workouts. I push myself to new limits everyday, and have reached new fitness goals I never thought would have been possible a year ago. I ran my first 5K start to finish. I’m now comfortable in a weight lifting room. Push-ups are a breeze (last year, they were almost impossible). Thanks to the support at FIT, I’ve gone above and beyond my fitness goals, and continue to surprise myself everyday."
